Job Description: Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator supports the agency team on a daily basis as we develop strategies, create communications tools, and plan public meetings and special events. The position reports to the Managing Director and Owner/Chief Executive Officer, but daily assignments will often come from and be reviewed by other team members to ensure the work meets each project’s overall scope. The Communications Coordinator will work directly with agency clients as well as our vendors and independent contractor partners.
Position Responsibilities
Schedule, organize, and coordinate public meetings and special events
Respond to client requests: provide files as needed, upload to server, update status, etc.
Assist team members in designing, writing and managing assets for social media, print, digital and presentations
Coordinate printing requests and communicate with vendors
Update Lynchpin Ideas website and social media
Provide general administrative/office support
Proofread agency work
Key Competencies
Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) creating printed and digital materials
Proven experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience in email marketing tools (MailChimp or similar programs) preferred
Be curious, think strategically and pay close attention to details
Work independently yet be able to collaborate with others
Juggle multiple projects at once
Thrive in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Present a professional image and upbeat attitude
Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Business or Communications
Relevant internships or prior administrative experience preferred
